Can Chiropractic help Low back Pain?

Absolutely! Chiropractic is a wonderful way to help restore mobility in the low back which decreases pain.  Not only would we adjust the low back, our physicians would also assess the surrounding musculature to determine if any needed to be stretched or strengthened.  Muscles do need to be looked at as well because often it is the muscles causing most of the problems.

Does Chiropractic help with Headaches?

Yes, chiropractic is fantastic for headaches, depending on the type of headache. Tension headaches, cervicogenic headaches, whiplash induced headaches and migraines all respond wonderfully to chiropractic adjustments.  The clinician must be expertly skilled, however, to determine exactly which type of headache you suffer from.  Not all chiropractors can do this.  They simply treat you as a "generic" headache sufferer and adjust you.  Having advanced training in headaches, whiplash and biomechanics our physicians have the expertise and clinical tools to properly assess, treat and correct headaches and whiplash.  Dr. Tereshel Johnson specializes in headaches and migraines so you will be treated by someone that knows headaches!

How much does Chiropractic cost?

Most people have health insurance which covers their care.  Each health insurance plan has different deductibles and copayments.  Call our office and have our office assistant check your benefits to determine exactly what you will pay out of pocket.  Also, if you need our services because of an auto accident or work accident, the car insurance and work insurance most often pays for it.  If you are a cash patient, we have discounts and payment plan options available.  Also, in these tough economical times, we certainly would not want anybody to suffer in pain because their lost job and their insurance! Call our office and we'll make arrangements for you based on your financial need.

Once I see a chiropractor do I have to keep going? 

No, you do not.  It is your choice.  If you feel it helps you, then why not go once in a while.  Recent studies have proven regular spinal adjustments, which put movement into a joint, decrease degeneration and keep your joints healthy.  But in the end, the decision is yours.  We recommend treatment based on prior experiences, however the decision is still yours.
